Thread: Jan 2012!

Hello,

I've been accepted for the Jan '12 term. I attended SMU previously, and am transfering in. UMHS has accepted my transfer credits but in Jan, it will have been about 2 yrs. I have 6 months until then, so would you say I spend the next 6 months reviewed anatomy and histo, and then starting in 2nd....or dish out the extra 20g to repeat 1st sem?

Also, I know this school is very young, so I would like to hear from someone that is in rotations, or graduated recently in the first class just to find out if the sites are good, how the school is viewed since it's newly formed, the Maine program, etc...

"transferred in" what credits were transferred

1st semester all transfered, so Anatomy, Histology, and Embryo. So I can start 2nd sem, minus the embryo...

dont repeat, people that repeat is usually for better grade than what they originally got
hence why the school has some Ross students that transferred and started over w/o ever mentioning to the school....

tbh I would have those credits transferred in and just continue onward, in which case you would have to focus on Cell Biology and MD2 courses

Anybody else accepted for Jan '12 yet? Actually, I'll be starting as 2nd semester, so wouldn't mind hearing from those of you starting in Sept since I'll join you in Jan...
