UMHS is opening in May 2008 due to a delay in the completion of the state-of-the-art anatomy lab and some regulatory issues. This was told to me during a talk with an admissions advisor today (November 19, 2007).

Yes it will be opening in May 2008! I talked with the admissions advisor today also. I went down in Sept and while I was down there, they had just done the ground breaking for the new lab. It looks good and I can't wait.
