Taipei – The University of Health Sciences Antigua signed an affiliation agreement as a sister school of the Taipei Medical University.This new relationship besides the development of different educational activities will allow to create a strong presence of our school as a sister school of the best medical university in Asia and the Pacific region.



The Taipei Medical University is located in the metropolitan capital Taipei City of Taiwan. This prestigious school has a top reputation of 50 years of existence with more than 30,000.00 graduates who serve and act as health leaders in more than 100 countries around the world.


TMU owns 3 affiliated world class medical centers that lead the cutting- edge health researches and education. With more than 5,000 faculties and professionals as well as 6,000 students in 5 colleges.


With this new relationship , Taipei Medical University (TMU) will hereby provide scholarship programs for UHSA students, including special scholarships (about 15,000 USD per year, 20 places) and fellowships (about 10,000 USD per year, 65 places).

The University of Health Sciences Antigua is privileged to become sister school of the Taipei Medical University. In conjunction with the other schools that have this same honor we will work jointly with all of them in our goal to produce top notch healthcare professionals that will serve the community around the world.

During the past 48 years, TMU has devoted to medical education through the efforts of five colleges (College of Medicine, College of Oral Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, and College of Public Health and Nutrition) and Center for General Education. Currently, there are over 6,000 students, 400 full-time faculties, 600 part-time faculties, and almost 30,000 alumni.

With the same insistence on the best patient services, all of our three affiliated hospitals with 3,080 beds in total, including TMU Hospital, Wan Fang Hospital, and Shuangho Hospital consider the highest standard of quality as the most important issue. Hi,

I went to the TMU website and UHSA is not listed as one of the sister schools
of UHSA. I emailed TMU; I also called UHSA and emailed the clinical coordinator - no response. What is happening? All I wanted to know was what the requirements are for doing rotations at TMU, and if they would be considered greenbook?
