Study And Study And ....

WELL GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO ARE STARTING THIS SEMESTER AT UAG!!!!!!!!

I remember when I started my first semester. All I can say is that if you study hard you will be doing your residency here in the U.S. in 2011. It's all about studying hard to pass the boards. Yes you might get culture shock or administration shock but try not to let that get you down. Study hard during the week and have fun during the weekend. Study at least 4 hours at home everyday and also use your review books. At the end of two years you will only use Kaplan's course and First Aid, take Step 1 and pass with a great score. Sounds eazy, the hard part is doing it. Yes Puerto Ricans or Mexicans have a different agenda but don't let that bother you!! Worry about yourself specially if you are planning on doing your residency here in the U.S.

So study and study hard and good Luck!!!!!!!! Cheers!! Pass this web page around UAG!!! It might help others on how to review!!!! Pass it around or post it too!!!!!!!!!good Luck!!!

Thumbs up

I agree with you UAGMED....if you study hard you will pass the boards...but one thing I don't understand....why some students might be bothered with Puerto Ricans or MExicans "agenda"....everybody has a different agenda but same goal: to become a physician, right? Well, that is how I see it....only my opinion so don't take it the wrong way.
To those who are starting 1st semester at UAG...best of luck and listen to UAGMED bc he/she is right...STUDY HARD, take breaks, have fun and most important...PASS the BOARDS!!!!
Wishing you the best UAGMED...take care!

It seems..

Well on other messages here some people seem to be bother by it. Mexican students are focus on practicing in Mexico and doing their residency in Mexico. But for Servicio social it requires a lot of practice in the clinical part so that is their main goal too during medical school not just theory. Puerto Ricans well they know what they want. Some want to practice in the U.S. some don't. I knew many Puerto Ricans, some study very hard some so and so. Many passed the USMLE's some only want it the Revalidad passed. Mexican students the majority want to pass the Nacional which by the way it is a very tought exam too.

Well good luck to all and the truth is that it's all about how bad you want it!!!
So study and study Very hard and have fun!!!!
Do not forget different country, different CULTURE!!!!!
Different laws!!!!!! Do not forget this!!!!

Good to all!!!!!!
