Thats kind of freeks me out, having a guy follow u around, but yes, it can happen anywhere, even in the US. I had this happen more in the US compared to my home country, esp in the summer time when I were short clothing

Well, it was the only time it happened...lol. It was pretty bizarre...but mostly I wanted people to know that no matter what, I still felt safe in my whites.

Yes, I agree that it’s not as easy for the UAG to just erase the social service from the ECGFG requirements; the ECFMG is very specific about graduates of Mexican school needing the year of social service.

I’d posted this on another discussion but IMHO it’s worthy of researching. Costa Rica also has a mandatory year of social service after 4 years of medical school and a year of internship, but the ECFMG’s medical school credential search shows that Costa Rica is a 5 year program to obtain an M.D. and makes no mention of social service requirement. It doesn’t make any distention of citizenship.

Maybe in Costa Rica they separate the diploma from the license to practice and in Mexico the Titulo is both and we’re getting scrubbed for that.
