August 2005
Hi All,
I am currently in the process of scheduling an interview in Guadalajara, but am definitely going into things with the hope of being accepted into this year's August class. I graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences/specialization in Neuroscience from UC Irvine in June 2003 and have worked as a Biologist for Stason Pharmaceuticals (Irvine, CA) for the past 10 months. Just out of curiosity, what brings/attracted you to UAG in the first place? Although I'm definitely impressed with many aspects of the school, I'm a bit apprehensive and scared, naturally, as I've never left the country... If all goes well, I look forward to learning more about and meeting all of you as we encroach upon our first semester! All the best to everyone...

applying for 2006
Quote:
i was accepted back in march and to be honest with you judging from the interview i think that they are looking for someone who has a genuine interest to study medicine and knows why they want to enter the field. as long as you are well rounded and can do an excellent job during the interview you will get in. if you want to apply for 2006, the earlier you can get your application in is always best. they do rolling admissions so just get it in as soon as you can. i say that because once they get your application and they review it you will be invited to an interview in a few weeks.. as for meeting with an admissions counselor that will definitely helo if you have the time to do so. i hope that helped you out a little. i have only been recently accepted so i am not experienced in terms of everything about the school, but i just wanted to share the little that i know. i can also email you some things that have been emailed to me from former students if you like. just give me your email address and i will forward it to you. let me know if you have any other questions. keji |

They won't charge you taxes for the laptop but for the PC they will. I were you I would just buy one in GDL. I know people that sell computers and the price depends on what you ar elooking for but is no much when compare to the prices from the US.
Furniture you can buy it there and nice and cheap. good Luck!! |

Thinking of lost, I have been looking at many post from others in other foreign medical schools... I have to say, although UAG doe have issues, I think I made the right choice by not considering most of UAG's "competition" out in the big blue sea.
