Thread: What should we wear in Guadalajara?

I did a lot of search and I cant find a thread for this.

What kind of clothes and shoes should we (male and female) wear or not wear in Guadalajara in general, not the school or classes. I heard that males should not wear sneakers and flip flops and shorts.

I understand that moving to another country is difficult, but some of the questions are a "duh" type of questions.

I think most of the questions could be googled. LOL
