amsa
I dont know what kind of influence u have on this org, however, If i could speak to their pres personally , I would ask him to partition those who own and run the school to offer the student body 6th year free, including housing costs, I know many students on here feel that will never happen, my friend who is in 6th sem also shares this belief, but the worst that could happen is they say no, its amsa responsibilty to convince the owners they will loose good hardworking, span speaking students to carrb schools who believed in UAG and its mission to assist the underserved lat and African pops in the US, its time amsa reps really represent the students instead of setting up parties and events, all nice and fun but not going to help students stay at UAG

A new applicant need to ask San Antonio how many positions/slots are available in August. The January class usually is around 100 and August class being around 150+.
What matters is the rate of change (gain or loss) in the class sizes since day one, in relationship to political (US and Mexican) and AMA decisions over the years. Does anyone have this information ? Applicants and new students need to feel welcome to UAG and attend UAG with out reservation or expectations. They should plan on attending UAG 6 years, unless they transfer. |

ICB in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

ICB is the Bio/Medical campus; it and the main campus are in the Guadalajara area. The main campus is close to if not in Zapopan.
They are not that far away, if one is a good walker have at it. Go out the main entrance at ICB (at the Gate) and then straight up the steep hill (asphalt road) to the stop light (Pablo Neruda), then take a left and continue walking for a long time until you see the arch way. Better yet, take a bus when you get to Pablo Neruda and return on the bus for the hike down the hill (Ask for directions so you take the correct bus). Phones: One Mexican (cell) pay as you go credit card one, and one US VOIP phone (internet based) or skype WIFI phone or similar setup. US cell phone is expensive and towers can fail so you cannot receive calls. WIFI phones require an access point like at Star Bucks or an open router in the area (ICB Library) , some of the newer ones for skype and other services support WEP. Battery life is poor. If you cannot connect your computer and hardware and setup the wireless or cable it, work these issues at at home not in mexico. Last edited by salto_jorge : 04-23-2008 at 09:35 AM. |
