Correct. There was no "meeting". My understanding was that our class president announced last week, Friday I believe, that someone from San Antonio would be coming to campus today (Tuesday) to talk to the students. I "assume" that means make their rounds and speak to classes as has been done in the past. Unfortunately...no one came to talk to the students. I was also told today that an Administrator from ICB sent a message through our physio teacher about 3 weeks ago that he would be coming in the next couple of days to speak with the students regarding the 5PW...

I will call San Antonio tomorrow to see if there was going to be any meeting or it was just a rumor. I actually talked to Mrs. Lebrija about 3 months ago an she told me that a meeting was on the making to discuss talking to students. According to her, students trust students so the reason for not showing face at all. I mentioned that I thought it was a mistake and this is when she mentioned that they were having a meeting during the week to discuss a possible meeting with the students. Like I said, this was 3 months ago. I guess the meeting was not important or maybe they didnt have anything to say. Good luck people

There was some posting on the ACG.. website regarding an upcoming meeting they were going to have discussing the FP. My amigo in 6th semester was talking to me about how he checked their website, at first, he saw the FP on the blog for their next meeting, then when he checked again it was gone. I wonder if this had anything to do with the UAG meeting. I will call them today and see if they give me any info

When I spoke to the ACGME in January, they were putting the FPW on the docket for June (for discussion). They are the last big player in all of this, but as the AMA said, since the AMA and the USMLE have already taken decisions, then the ACGME won't likely have a choice but to follow suit (because it leaves them without an administrator for the program). However, it ain't over 'til it's over...
