segundos week and extraordinarios week. its the time assigned for those who failed the class/final and must take segundos (second final). those who fail segundos must take extraordinarios. fail that one and repeat the class.

it depends on the prof and the material. some classes almost no one goes, but other, tougher classes with tougher profs may have up to 40 in a class of 180 go to segundos. most pass segundos though. there are always a few who have to take extras.

if u keep up there should be no reason to take segundos.

Since the school is in Mexico, you do not get most U.S. Holidays, only a few major ones. (I have not checked the class schedule )

You get off major Mexican Holidays.

Ok, so now I'm offically accepted so i can ask real questions! Haha. So On the calendar posted on the school's website it only lists the July-December term, then when does the next term begin? Do they post another one closer to the end of the term or how do we know when to schedule flights back to mexico? If I had to make an assumption I would say it would begin at about where the january class starts? Only for me in 2009 it would start at the second section???? Help? Thanks

closer to the end of this semester the following 2 terms should be posted. when u look at the calendar u will follow the 08/02 1o if u will be 1st semester in the fall. for the 09/01 you will then look for 2o if u pass and become a second semester student. usually we get like 5 weeks off in the winter, at least thats how it was for those who are now 2nd semester. length seems to change and i havent noticed any patterns, but u should have plenty of time to purchase a ticket in advance.

we get columbus, thanksgiving, dont know if any other. some mexican holidays like virgin marry's day. some catholic holidays like semana santa (spring break). once in a while a three day weekend comes up, or a thursday holiday where people take friday off too. such is the case next week.
