I got so used to this in undergrad research and graduate work that I assumed that is the way it would be here.

We are all trying to be doctors of some type. Which means we should use evidence based arguments for our posts.

When rhetoric gets hot I always try and post a source or study. Not just an opinion without support.

I would like to emplore you to post with the idea that someone may check your facts and look for sources that support or refute them. It is a great practice for the future.

I have done grad research at both the State U level and the Ivy League level and I can tell you that among scholars sarcasm and lampooning is allowed. It must just be back up by studies.
