call me negative or something BUT do we actually believe that some school official will answer any questions for us????? we know the answers to many of them but it seems like we are just "hoping" things dont turn out the way they really are or hoping problems get fixed the "Mexican" way. We will never get concrete answer when it comes to FPP, transcripts, LOR, problems with those students without the correct documentation in their education, etc. The UAG cannot change the rules from one day to the other; they depend on the mexican educational entities to make changes that most likely will take a long time, money, bribes and burocracy to make them happen. I dont blame the UAG for not communicating anything since they have nothing meaningful or realistic to say. The reality is scary and I am surprise in how many students are so ignorant of what is really going on. Good luck and do your homework people!

400 posts

Iit took me 5 years to reach this post count when acgt and rasp took just a few months to get here. I will copy and paste all questions and send to the UAG. I also asked for a weekly update on this issue. I'll let you all know how long it will take to get answers for these questions.

With all due respect, I may sound little direct.
My questions are as follows.
1. Why the newest college on islands can send their students in 4 years in US and UAG can not?? We are international class. It is well known to UAG and mexican government that our goal is to finish 4 years and get residency in USA..
2.We have paid fees as international students. Mexican government has not paid anything for us. Why they can not keep us as international and let us go after 4 years ?
3. Why University is fighting on a full extent and get some result from AMA ?? This is like changing the rules in the middle of the game for 1st till 6th semester.
4. Why they are forcing to AMA and not talking to Mexican government to change their rules as the students have to do 3 years residency after 4 years without getting any serious money ?/
5. Why are we getting ready to accept the idea of 6 years?? Why are we giving up? School can talk to AMA. If they fail they can talk to health secretary. They can talk to American president. They can send deligation to mexican government. Stdent body can visit mexican authority.
6. We can go on fasting against this ruling and atleast for the present students request/ beg/ covince / force the fifth pathway.

It actually took me 2 years, but there was that short moment of rapid worthless posting that accelerated our post counts. You, however, have been known to always post comments of importance, so your quality beats much of our quantity. Needless to say, congratualtions is well deserved to you. As well as a show of appriciation for all you have done to keep this forum open and useful.

We need to add the question from the other thread to this list, if there's really to be reviewed by the UAG.

1. What is exactly required for a student that isn't planning on practicing in Mexico to receive the titulo from the UAG?
(only Internado, or Internado & Servicio Social?)

2. If the answer is 'only internado,' will the UAG go into the IMED &/or ECFMG and modify the requirements that are listed, as they differ from the true requirements?
