Gi Bill

Anyone using their GI benfits or do they not allow it for a foreign school? If so do you get 100 percent or a reduced amount? Whats the turn around time for benefits?

You will need to call financial aid in San Antonio to get a good answer on that. They are very nice and it is a quick call.

I called San Antonio on your behalf and they will email me back. They had to look it up. Monica remembered several students with VA benefits but GI Bill slipped her mind.

There is also a neighbor above me that was in the Gulf before coming here. I think he went to the gulf in one of our main services he is still reserve now and I will ask him.

I talked to my neighbor and he said that he fills out the form so the GI bill funds will go to him personally. Evertime he fills this out the school will change the designation to them and then he calls GI bill to get it redirected to him.

But, yes, 100 percent in your pocket.

My friend gets stafford loans for the main tuition and used GI bill for paying incedentals.

Thanks for the help and info! My next question is how well do the US students perform? Is the program set up where a certain percentage will fail? What I mean by that if their is a curve system in which only a certain percentage of A,B,C ect will be award per class or does it vary with professor.

There is no forced bell curve/failing. It is up to you to fail on your own
