It is not what it did, it is what it has not done.

Dead or Alive, many of the current posts are similar to the old ones.

I wonder if these any of them ever completed their studies at UAG.

yeah whats the deal with that...the sweeping sound drives me crazy during class. i mean, get the guys leaf blowers and have them go at it before anyone shows up.

for those not here, the UAG @ ICB has picked the messiest trees ive ever seen. they have the little stems that each have 50 little leaves, then purple flowers...shedding everywhere! i guess someone wanted to give some jobs away.

also...there are several areas where theres no grass, and the school is constantly watering it, trying to get the grass to grow. but what someone isnt telling someone else, is that the sweeping guys, everyday, sweep the bare dirt, therefore eliminating any chance the grass seed can set. buy some sod!

/rant...back to studying

My thought is that the school is no longer able to pay for that level of upkeep every single day

Sweeping is normal, in poor areas one cleans the dirt floors.

I have seen areas littered from the nights garbage (street party and outside vendor malls ) clean as can be in the morning when one goes outside the next day.

The cleaning is usually done before everyone goes to work/school.

I agree cleaning during the day is a real pain unless it is along a major street and not near a open windows or doors. The dust and dirt then gets everywhere.

Well, I have been slightly discouraged while reading this forum, but I have still decided to come to UAG starting in August. I think it's a great opportunity for experience that we would be unable to get in many other places. I could sure get in in other places if I tried, but UAG was the only school I wanted to apply for. I don't care if it takes a few extra years. In my opinion, we'll be on top in the experience department and maybe even get into a good residency. Correct me if I'm disillusioned, but I just thought I would add some positive light to the forum
