I am not sure if I am right because my spanish is not brillian. I have been seeing this commercial in mexican about advancing one hour and I believe it is going to be in effect on monday (I returned on friday because I want to study for biochem). Can some one confirm me with that?

Of course. Sonora is south of Arizona, and Arizona does not follow DST. Mexico is just mirroring the USA, with the exception of the new "test" schedule in the USA this year as to when the times change.
