Well, the last time I had some common sense I figured out that the AMA has nothing to lose since we are not paying them in any way. The UAG has a lot to lose if the wonderful and hopeful "grandfathering" options completely disappears. Where is the transcript? if there was anything positive in it, we would have had it for a long time. huh? As a teacher, I would give you an F in your logic homework

Ask the sixth semester student president. The March meeting is typed out word for word. Call her for an appointment to read it.

The last information I have is--UAG could not get anything from AMA. It was a meeting to inform UAG the news of cancellation of 5th pw and not to expect any thing more. -oherwise why the school is not coming up with answer. So the hope is not there any more.

As per the news 50 students are planning to leave. You can read in classified that one of the guys writing here frequently is selling his stuff.

For those that are confused. The 6th-semester student that went to the meeting, on his own, recorded and typed the meeting. It is about 25 pages. this was a lot of work, and is why it took so long to become available. However, after it was typed, the UAG, using "UAG logic" (like fuzzy logic, but fuzzier) insisted that it not be made public. Thus, students can "see" the document, but cannot copy, post, etc. the document.

thanks acgt, this is something people have a hard time understanding. Information is available but has not been released for whatever fuzzy intentions. But since Lucy read the document and it mentions grandfathering and actions to take, let her tell us the actual content of it. Maybe this 6th semester class president has the cojones to release the content of these transcripts. Good luck

oh.... that makes a whole lot of sense. lets make everyone mooooore suspicious. please. when will the file be 'leaked' on some torrent site? I would assume everyone in the meeting recorded the meeting, therefore they could never pinpoint the actual 'leak'. this pisses me off.

I think I am suspicious enough even without the document. If there was anything good or concrete, we would have known already. Students are leaving by bunches, at least in 2nd semester. Some havent left because they want to finish the semester and try to transfer some classes to where ever they are going. Some others are just as ignorant of the situation as a mule in Arandas and they still have hope. Good luck

Rasputin, i agree with you that the document is probably quite worthless, but that doesnt mean that it shouldnt be publicized. I would be hesitant to bother reading an official transcript from the school.

But, on a positive note, there has been a surge of positivity with the news of social service possibly disappearing for private schools. Then students could do internado @ a 5th pathway site just like they wanted to anyway.

If this indeed becomes the case, it shows that we have to make objective decisions without any emotions.
