The BEST service is House of Change farther sounh on Patria (on th west side of street). I do not even like Chinese, but will go just for the service. 100% perfect service!!!

Comparing it to the Applebee's in Galeria's or the Chili's I've been to....where you have to call them to get a re-fill, or else the restaurants are just too busy with other customers to provide good service. Yet, they could easily get a guard out there for the prices they charge.

No, it happened to some other students, and also my roommate. Keys to my apt were in the backpack that was stolen. It cost me $100 to replace the nice Tesa locks in my apt, so I lost on the theft, too.

Gotta try that then. I'd had yet to find a Chinese restaurant. I tried fast food chinese in one of the plazas and it tasted like they really used a cat to make the "chicken."

I do not think they would use cat meat to replace chicken because chicken is much more cheaper and it has more meat. If the restaurent used cat meat, they would most likely charge you more money and also state it on the menu. From I learned, exotic animals (cats, dogs and what ever else americans do not eat) are consider as exquisite cuisines and fast food restaurents usually do not serve them.

No, that was not cat. That is a high-priced delicacy... what you had was pure pigeon.

Seriously though, this place is perfect. The owner who is almost always there also speaks perfect English.

banks and credit cards

when i was down there back in may, i used my chase credit card freq, when i entered into the US and a few weeks later my bank statment came, i did not notice any unauthorized activity, however, i did not eat at the places u mentioned, i did eat at a cuban resturant and a brazilian barb, they seemed to charge about what a US eq would..

why are some banks recommended over others

None of the food is exactly the same as the US, but they are close.

Outback and Chili's are pretty close to US.

Food at Applebee's by school was better than I've had at Applebee's in the states.

And as far as I am concerned Chang's has gone down a step in food quality.

Actually my favorite American comfort food is Domino's Pizza delivered to my door.

Your car couldn't be safer than parked in front of your apartment.

Oops, it's just as unsafe there if you leave backpacks in view.
