Breaking news folks.

Background check is now a requirement. Which one of you turned out to be the real criminal?

Back ground check for entering into uag and I can assume that this only applies to the new students. I just received the phone call from san antonio a couple of minutes and she told me back ground check is now a new requirement for uag. Am I the only new incoming who is required to do this background check or is this an old news?

Interesting. Other foreign schools have required it for a while. I wonder if it is a UAG thing, and a Mexican government thing.

I also wonder what the "crime" must be to not be accepted. I remember when I was teaching elementary school science, we all had to have one before we could start. If you killed someone, but were not found guilty, you were okay (as really may be the case), but a simple drunk driving conviction would bar you (not a real danger unless you continue to get drunk and drive the car into the classroom). Hopefully it is just fro violent crimes.

yes educational institutions require a background check in the states. They still accept perverts though and most of teachers I knew smoke weedand they were science teachers. I guess they were experimenting some theory

I know they accept perverts; I was accepted. Seriously though, I think it is more a legal issue to cover their butt than that they are worried. Penn State fired a techer a few years back that had killed someone, done all his time in jail, and had taught many years afterwards with a perfectly clean record. He was not any more of a threat than you or I, but they canned him for his crime 30 or 40 years ago.
