I drove ambulances in Chicago and I had a rough time driving here for the first few weeks... So... You have to get used to it unless you learned how to drive here in GDL... Not impossible-- just a challenge- but that's what you are here for, right?

Driving here is fun. Some people would pay money for the fun they can have driving here

I have driven in NYC. NY is much worse than GDL. The worst thing here is at the "glorietas" (roundabouts, circles). There are multiple lanes (the inner lanes circle conterclockwise; the outer lanes exit) and if you are in a middle lane to continue the circle, some ásshöle in the very center (not just one "unique" person, this is very common at some of the circles) will cut in front of you to exit. The glorietas are in my opinion the most likely opportunity for an accident. However, because of the direction and speed, they are not that dangerous. Eastbound on Av. Mexico (at Juan Palomar y Arias) is the worst place where everyone will cut you off to continue going east. Glorieta Minerva is a far second.

Tonala (where you can buy cheap and custom wooden items) is statistically the most likely place to be involved in an accident here for a student. If a student has a dent somewhere on their car, 65% chance it came from there.

I'm a crazy driver, so I guess GDL will have to adapt to me .

The school has a gym, but at the main campus, not at ICB (where you will be).

Gyms range from the $300 side (Florencia) to $450 (Golds) to $550 (World) per year. World gym has a pool. I am not sure about the school.

World is walking-distance from ICB, Florencia and Golds is hiking distance. The school gym is taxi or drive only.

They are more $ than 24-Hour Fitness. They all turn the lights off at 20 before closing. Worlds is the cleanest (not bad) and has the best venilation. Florencia is the only one I know that is open on Sunday.

Fitness culture??? Actually fat and diabetic is a better view . Those at the gym are a small minority here.
