high school transcripts?

Y does uag require those traspcripts? I just feel kind of weird to go back all the way back to junior high to dig up my transcripts. College transcripts are okay because every college requires them for new comers. High school and junior high? Did anyone out there had a strange experience when they were getting their transcripts from their own schools?

yeah it is kind of wierd. I think those transcripts are for the Mexican Education Board ... or something of that sort. My junior high actually could not find mine, but wrote me a letter in lieu instead that said when I went to the school and the date of my graduation. I think its basically just a formality for the government. Hope that helps.

junior high (secundaria) AND high school ( preparatoria) are taken very seriously in Mexico so as stated by meena. They have a tremendous value for the mexican educational system where kids are not promoted by age but actual knowledge and passing of all the classes to go directly into a 4 year university. Just remember that college doesnt exist in mexico so that students lacking the sufficient "gray matter" will never go to a university; only the ones that do will do passing all their classes ( including PE believe or not), per semester, per year. Otherwise, students will repeat the WHOLE YEAR. Understand that the educational level and educational mentality in Latin american countries at this level is better than the US where some students get a high school diploma and never take an algebra, bio, or chem but receive the same diploma as someone that did.....social promotion at its best...so as you can see is not that weird from the mexican end.

I understand that it is a very serious formality from a judicial perspective. Hoever, I just feel weird to go back to my own junior high after almost 20 years to get my transcript. When ever I drive by my old high school, I feel like a dad looking at a bunch little kids. If I go back to junior high, I am going to feel like a pack of dinosaur bones next to the students.

You think you have problems.

Stovery's parole officer won't let him get within 500 feet of a grade school.

Funny... but some of those high school girls look good

The procedure is a pain in the culo, and very inconsiderate towards the Americans that are usually paying much more money to go to their schools. However, remember we are going to a private school in Mexico, and it has no associaction with the MX gov. except that it has to obey all the rules that the other MX public schools do.

I agree that is it kind of weird to see even sometimes teachers and counselors at these places where they were working while you were going to school during those times.
