another thing. if all of these "problems" affect people in a very negative way. Imagine going to Ross or any other caribbean medical school (except SMU) where living conditions are horrible. I am not inventing this, anybody can double check it by browsing through their forums. is there a point about advocating transfering? but hey!! the "the grass is always greener..."

The road actually belongs to the school. I believe the investment may seem out of reach or not important to the school admnistration. If they pave the road it would make the school look much nicer. They should charge a toll for everyone else other than students using the road. Just a thought.

I agree uagdoc but it is a historical site with the "arcos" ( irrigation system used hunderds of years ago) and everything else. I think.

I think they use jagged rocks instead of paving because the jagged rocks are supposed to be cute.

Concrete is cheap in mexico.

I like Doc's idea... As for the site being historical, the aquaducts and arches are beautiful and historic. However, the "rocky road" is historical, but so is a 1978 Yugo (I do not like either.)

I don't know about the rocks. I think it really depends on where you life.

If you live northwest of campus in walking distance you never ever have to drive on them.

If you live southeast you have to drive on them at both exits and entrances.

It is the little inconvenience that comes to you attention.

They spend lots of time taking the rocks that have gone flat from use and turning them pointy side up again.

True. I think in the old days when UAG and the University of Guadalajara were enemies, they would sharpen the rocks with a chisel and put them around the school like a moat to keep UAG safe from outsiders.
