Has anyone taken this test. I'm required to take it now. I have already graduated from the international program. Please let me know if you have any information.

I have heard of it, but do not know anyone that has taken it. For some reason, I do not remember it being directly related to medicine. However I vaugely remeber anything about it. Why are you required to take it; who is asking you to take it?

Some are required to take it. Specially if you do not finish with internado. Some people have taken it.

The "Examen Global de conocimientos" aka "Examen Profesional" is required to get the degree for UAG, the "titulo". This test has two parts: a written test and a practice test with patients.

If you choose the 6-year program at UAG, you need to accredit this test in order to receive your "Medico Cirujano" Degree.

It is not a dumb question. You only need to take if you want your "Titulo" ( A diploma recognized by the Mexican Government) or you decide to go the 6 years route.
