Hi Barry

Congratulations on getting into UAG! My name is Carlos and I have also been accepted to start in 8/04. I go to school in Richmond, VA. You are the only person I know so far that will be in this class. If you can, email me at quequeris@yahoo.com so we can talk about our concerns, maybe we can help each other out! Ok, chao.

Saludos....to travelers on the road less traveled

Congratulations!!! Just so you know you are not alone, I also will be starting in Aug/04 at UAG. I'm single and plan on moving to Guadalajara a month before orientation. Good to see that future classmates are posting here.

Aug 2004

Hello! I will be starting medical school at UAG Aug 2004 as well. I hope to hear from anyone who wants to exchange concerns and experiences. I will be flying to Guadalajara for a tour. Can anyone recommend a hotel near the school? I am currently trying to make arrangements to attend the Spanish medical term class that starts on July 12, 2004. How is everyone handling finding an apartment. I got the apartment list from the school, but there is no way to communicate with the landlords via e-mail, only telephone. If you have not received a book list from the school, ask for one. I found a lot of our text books for really good proces at half.com. But, an updated booklist will be available some time in May. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted. I think it will be a great experience for us all.
