have some respect for your senior MD's here and perhaps learn a few things: Remember learn one do one and teach one. That is your motto as a physician:
1- learn how to take a joke and not be on the offensive.
( i can and will apologize to you for offending you, if indeed i did so. )
2-learn how to use these forums to gain knowledge and wisdom to help your career not to defame a country that is less developed than yours.
3-being a physician is so much more than just practicing medicine.
doctor means teacher in latin. Can you teach us all anything? i have tried.
or will you continue to deride and defame a nation that is atleast giving men and woman a chance to become physicians, to live their dream and hopefully help others in pain and misery?

Just think about how many of us great doctors in the USA practicing/retired went to school in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC .
Some may admit it openly. Some may not. The fact is clear.
Thousands, no tens of thousands..... Why continue this mockery and defamation.
The DR is on lots and lots and lots of medical school diplomas

The people who defend DR are the ones who like the bars, and the "rent for an hour" girls!
This is the truth!
Dude i dont know where ur coming up with that.. ive been here for a almost 2 years, and havent had any problems..but u sound like one of those students who just couldnt make it here because of doing the things u mentioned..if ur here ur here to study....

The best way to know the truth is to spend a week visiting the classrooms at UCE, Unibe and so on. Many folks that write Beutifull things about D.R. or its schools either work for the school in marketing or are Dominicans. There are many places around the world were you can study medicine and become a great doctor in the states. Dominican republic is not the only choice now days like it was in the 80's. You need a school that prepares you for the usmle and non of the schools in D.R. do that, not even UNIBE! Search for yourself! Don't let anyone mislead you, specially the one on this website....
