In fact cones laws says that only one semester is permited. Uce students have a problem because their pensum is not as organized as unibe's. Unibe's students do 1 semester(2 clinical rotations). uce students are only allowed 1 clinical rotatio. There were some students that did one year, but they had to repeat those extra rotations in d.r.!

There is a huge difference in the Internado of the D.R. and Internship in the USA. In the former, you are still a medical student; in the latter you are an M.D. and you have patient responsibility. The advantage of a rotation in the USA is it teaches you the nuances of American Medicine that is very different from foreign countries; especially the required paper work. Questions?

At UNPHU Medical School, you can do one half of the last year, this mean 6 month (26 weeks). You can do all the 26 weeks together or separately. Of course, you need to have a GPA of 2.8, an other requirements.
