Hi all!! I am currently seeking to attend a Med school in the DR for financial and time reasons. In HS, it was my goal to become a NP in the states, but when I found that I could become a doctor in the same amt of time I became very interested. A main reason is that I work in a doctor's office now and from what I see, all a nurse practitioner is is an underpaid doctor! My dillema is that I have a very bad habit of wanting to get things done early, and I slipped up and decided to get my GED so that I could start at community college at 16...Now, I have maintained a 4.0 average, but I am scared abt the fact that I didn't graduate HS will affect me getting into med school in DR.I haven't found any info on any schools accepting GED's and if they do, how is the admissions different? Any ppl from a med school in DR who have a GED, I would greatly appreciate if you could give me some advice! Or if you dnt have one and know anything abt the process I would appreciate it. The main schools I am intersted in (in order of interest) are PUCMM, UCE, UNIBE, and maybe INTEC. Thanks so much in advance!
