i'm considering to take my residency at RD

I would ask to you about living cost there

1. rent a house/apartment per month?
2. eat / day?
3. internet / month?
4. electricity bill / month?

1. rent a house/apartment per month? 11 000 pesos 300$ and up up up
2. eat / day? you could manage to eat well for about 200 dollars in groceries
3. internet / month? cheapest is 50$
4. electricity bill / month? from 0 (included with your rent) to 1000 pesos to 5000 pesos if you have your own air conditioner and you use it often

don't forget transportation and entertainment.

in general you can find things cheap if you look hard enough but life here is getting frequently more expensive. thanks inflation. its also surprisingly easy to get ripped off at first. but you'll get better at haggling and shopping at the right time, right place. if you're coming here good luck.
