the tuition is $4,500 per semester. How much you get in financial aid depends on which semester you are in (pre-med 1 or 4). The aid increases as you move into higher semesters. You could do apply to unibe and see which semester you are accepted into (depending on if you have taken any college courses which may transfer here). Then apply for financial aid. I remember that in some of the pre-med semesters, financial aid did not cover the whole tuition and i had to pay the difference (including personal expenses, housing, etc.)
In med, you receive approx. $9,000 which after paying for tuition will leave $4,500 for housing, food etc. I think it is more than enough for a semester but depends on where you decide to live and what you lifestyle is like.
hope that helps

ask for info

Hi,

I live in Switzerland and I am looking for a good university in DR. I've heard about UNIBE.
Can someone tell me how can I do for a financial aid? (in french or spanish if it's possible)
And how much does it cost for a room?

Thanks,

Kaly

There are other medical schools down here as well. UNIBE is the only daul language program I know of (i.e. english). But, if english isn't your best language you might consider an all spanish one. Two good ones I know of are INTEC (Sto. Dom.) and Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (Santiago, If you want to inquire about it just say this "La Yucca-My-Ma" or now it would be more correct to say "La Pucca-My-Ma" by-the-by that's spelled out how it sounds(in english).
