English speaking Caribbean students trying to go to the US

Is there anyone like this out there? I'm getting the feeling that people who talk about how they went to the States after attending UNIBE or UCE were from the States originally. I'm pretty sure that it's harder for anyone who's not from the US (contiguous states or not) to get into a residency.

Any thoughts? suggestions? comments? concerns? cries of anguish?

It is a little difficult if you do not have your green card or US citizenship, but still possible.
I'm a proud Dominican Doctor now working in the US, from there my user name IMG SURVIVOR

As a matter of note, The J. William Harrington Program associated with U. Miami is STRICTLY for Latin American graduates who ARE NOT U.S. citizens. Excellent program with the intentions of training the FMG in the latest technology and they return to their home country to improve the health care system.

Actually, I'm non-Latin Caribbean. Thanks, but that won't be of much help.
