Step1 scores

As you know the USMLE step1 passing %, is different from university to university.
My question is What has been the highest grade you have heard for step1 from each university?

I know that UNIBE had a girl that score a 99 Do not know the 3 digit score.
And that UCE had two Lady's that score more than 93 and a guy that score 96.Again do not know the 3 digit score because for some reason they (Dominican Republic) only talk in 2 digit score.
Have you heard about anyone scoring the same grades or more for UCE?

I herd that UCE is making students take Step1 before they graduate.
How true is that?
Are people actually passing the exam?
Also I heard that UCE has Princeton review, what type of cigars are they smoking in UCE?
What is your opinion if you have any experience with Princeton?

La UCE

Umm...la UCE does have the princeton review, I´m actually in the center right now, although I´ve heard from a pretty reliable source that they may leave soon due to them not getting paid. Anything. Since December of last year. The same thing happened when the Kaplan was here a few years back. Apparently these review courses arent cool with not getting paid for their services for 12 months. Who wouldve thought¿ I dont know though, even the most reliable sources can be wrong, especially down here.
I personally dont know any recent scores from anybody, but I do know that there have been some people passing step 1 lately, and it seems to me that a lot of students are looking into taking it in the next 8-12 months. There has seemed to me to be a switch in the average UCE student mentality as of late, from the brugal and cuero crowd to a more high yield and pirated rewiew course dvd centered population. A lot of guys are breaking up their last (12th) semesters into 2, to give them step 1 prep time. The average class in la UCE doesnt give you close to one tenth of the info you need. For the most part, with a few outstanding classes and Profs, la UCE sucks amazingly bad. Just a bad vibe all the way around.
The UCE is saying that they want a passed step 1 before internado or a diploma, depending on who you talk to on what day. I think this rule had to do with so many people coming over here and graduating without ever passing step 1 or the revalida, and in turn defaulting.

In the past the mentality was to pass the exams after graduating, untill a couple of ladys and a guy passed the exams with good grades wile in school, so that is something very positive.

That is a sad reality

Can you name what classes you find good professors?
Are some of the teachers trying to at least focus a little more to the exams USMLE ?

i'm from la uce with step 1 a 95(235) step 2 95(236) and it doesn't changes with the med school but does changes depending if you are a foreign med grad or not. In my residency there's people with 95 that scored 241, a little bit higher. So it standarizes you but not that much. Aswering your last question the physiology and micro professor of mine ( graduated on 2005, don't know if garcia szabo and dr ***** are still around ) are great, as well as pena vasallo of pathophysiology just to mention some.anatomy is good but is too descriptive, not suited for the boards.

For the residency of my choice, yes it was. But to get into a residency it was not. And I am a us citizen but not from the states. It's easier to get residency if you are a citizen, since medicare doesn't pays the same to a program for a FMG without certain visas. So if you are a citizen and have good scores in the usmle, you should not have much trouble getting into residency. The one of your choice, that depends in so much circumstances that's a hole new story.
Let's just say that I got the residency of my choice but not in the place of my choice
