The reason you have not had a reply is simple.
It is like asking.... which is a better city to live in....Chicago or New York?
I am sure you are aware of the numerous answers and reasons you would get. All probably valid for the person answering.
Someone might recommend a movie to me as great and when I go see it I think it is terrible. Not all things are the same for all people
Point is....use the system that best suits YOUR needs. Check them both out personally and then make your decision on what appeals to YOU, and your specific needs, not what someone recommends on the board.
Good luck

I'm doing the Najeeb program now. It only consists of videos as you sit in chairs and take notes of videos from his lectures. It's great if you start from Med 1 and squeeze in a few hours a week and consider it as if it was another class. It will help you not only for the boards but also with your classes.
I can't comment on Kaplan, but Najeeb is a lot less expensive.
510 points Where/how do you get Najeeb?
I Googled it and do no get anything USMLE related.

I can't put together exactly what you are trying to say and wish you would clarify it. Why is it exactly you are calling Najeeb a scam? Have you personally sat in on one of his lectures?
I can't speak for others, but I do know my experience with Dr. Najeeb has been all worth it. The man will sit with you and thoroughly explain things to you, and the videos are superb. Far better than any professor has taught me so far at UNIBE.
Here's what I can tell you:
His program is called Concept Age & he will be raising prices soon. If anybody is further interested, please e-mail me. You can get a free video and see for yourself how good he is.
Per Dr. Najeeb, people taking his course score over 90 on step 1.
I heard just a few days ago that the dean of medicine from UCE went to go see him personally to help some students pass their steps.
His English is understandable, but he does have a noticable Indian accent. Trust me it's not half as bad as some of these professors at UNIBE anyway. Last time I checked the price was around $1400 a year, but I heard it was going up. I don't know what his pass rate is, but he advised me that his students usually score in the 90's and that he has been doing this for the past 20 years.
