That he practice in DR?
He has taken the USMLE?
That he teach?
I have never heard of the guy, I have been away from the country for some years now, but when I was there I knew almost everyone and everything related to USMLE.

why even bother with the obvious. Just know where you are need it and where you can help the most.
Dr. Najeeb is a graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan and has been in academic medicine ever since. About 25 years. He has been in the D.R. a little over a year now.
He came to the Dominican Republic and established his Medical Concepts Service that he had previously in Pakistan.
He does not practice in the D.R.
He did not take the USMLE because he never had any intention of practicing medicine in the USA.
He has given numerous guest lectures to AMSA and I have attended most. I will be the first to say he has a gift for teaching, especially difficult subjects. He has the unique ability to explain complicated material in a very basic way. Most, if not all, who use his service are very pleased.
What ever review service assists you in passing the USMLE......go for it. Those who graduate have invested money, blood, sweat and tears and the final step is the USMLE.

510 points Can the DVDs be bought from him? What about other students , example UCE, which is many times bigger than UNIBE?What service can he provide for UCE students?

No, his DVD's are not for sale but are used as a teaching tool in his courses which are open to all students regardless of University affiliation. And if you are impressed by size....try University of Santo Domingo with 167,000 students enrolled! UASD has more medical students than UCE and Unibe combined.
You are most welcome. Glad to be of service and help.

510 points Glad You Have A Sense Of Humor....essential In Medicine....believe Me.
He has A Former Uce Student Graduate Working With His Organization.....there Are Many From Other Schools Who Utilize His Service.
To Get Him And His Usmle Concepts Introduced To Unibe Students....dr. Najeeb Gives Guest Lectures To Amsa (american Medical Student Association, Unibe Chapter)
All Are Invited. You Do Not Have To Be A Unibe Student.

There is one thing that I think would help Dr. Najeeb and that is to take the USMLE's himself. I know he has no intention of practicing in the states, but I think it's something to consider.
I am sure it is something that will weigh in the minds of prosepctive students.
510 points I have been studying with doctor najeeb for one year, and I would say it has been the best investment I have made in my education, ever. Most of the time, a teacher focuses on one subject and recites a rehearsed speech for many years so many times that they are bored of the subject (Najeeb integrates all the basic sciences into his lectures, so his movies are never boring.) But in the movies here, you get to feel like you are part of a unique experience, learning some topic so well that it is harder to forget than remember. My grades in all my classes have benefit from this teaching, and I feel well prepared for taking the Boards in a few months.
510 points I started with Dr. Najeeb in May and I wish he had been around when I first began Med 1 at UNIBE. He makes what many consider difficult, extremely logical and fluid. His style of teaching makes you thirst for more. I have not taken and I probably will not take any other review course because I feel that what I have learned here is solid and will stay with me forever.

Cubanito, yes , you are right,if he does take the steps, its like proof of the pudding.
By the way, I did not find Dr Najeebs back ground anywhere on the net,but I trust Dr Ernest , and so I will take his word for Dr Najeebs excellence.
