Thread: Najeeb vs. KAPLAN

I was told by someone that the guy in the KAPLAN office said najeeb is better. anybody know if this is true. i'm interested in costs and step performance and any other pros and cons.

Yes indeed Dr. N has a center at UCE (which ive visited many times and spoken to him), but also he travels to other medical schools such as ROSS, and now it seems that hes going to UAG.

Someone ask me which are the vids that are not complete, well he gives u a list of topics that he has done, i dont remember precisely but i know that hes missing micro and patho most of it (thats for sure).

He is an excellent professor, he knows his stuff and best of all knows how to transmit his knowleadge to others.

he posts some vids for free on his website and y tube, but most of them u will have to purchase a sub. Its well worth it, plus some students have downloaded progs to their laptops which allow them to pi....te the vids

Geeh guys why so fanatics? I certainly like them both; even though, I had some skepticism about Dr. Najeeb but confusion made come closer and like his accent later. Necessity invents way to understand .

Absolutely not! Kaplan, DIT, pathoma are all great resources

I am currently taking nursing as a second career and i must admit, most of the teachers I have had up until now have been to say the least, lack luster. I found Dr. Najeeb online and watched his free online videos and was absolutely astonished how well he taught and how well the infomation stuck in my head. He has a really great way to take complex information and make it seem easy, which as you all know, there is alot of infomation in medicine that needs to be absorbed. My grades have considerable gone up and my understanding of medical concepts has drastically improved ten fold. He is a great teacher and i have no doubt he could pass any test you give him. He has nothing to prove. I have seen other teaching methods like kaplan and others and i my personal opinion they are not the same as Dr. Najeeb. I wish i would have found him three years ago when i started nursing school. I will continue to have him as a teacher online to further help my nursing career through to my PhD. Thank you Dr. Najeeb for having the passion and sharing it with students like me.
