UNIBE vs (name any other carib school)

Hi Guys!
I've been doing some searching, and so far, the only negative I could see is No Clinicals in U.S. At various times back in 2004 I was accepted to ROSS, SABA and SMU. I'm from NY, and thus wanted to have a school affiliated there. But my G-d...$$$$$$$ is way more than UNIBE. I have 2 professional licenses in health field. To me FMG is an FMG, but the debt you wind up with means a lot. Also since I'm from NY D.R is only less than 3 hrs away by direct (inexpensive) flights. Did any of you choose UNIBE vs ....(plug your favorite Carib school)? Am I fooling myself? The only atraction is relatively low tuition, and Feds loans.
Thanks

Just remeber that Unibe's teaching is geared towards for Dominican Republic students and a way that is geared towards assuming you will work in that country. Obviously no international student will. Schools liek Saba, Ross and SMU completely gear you towards working in the states and prepare you from day 1 to be able to be ready for step 1 and 2 without taking a long break to write the boards like many unibe students do. Saba's prices are similar not a whole lot mroe expensive but probably the best or tied for the best school in the carribean i would say. but thats just my opinion and also it is from what I hear from otehr people who have gone there and comparing it to what other students from ross, auc and smu have said.

Thanks Susheel. You just confirmed it for me. I think I'm going to go with USMLE geared schools, and most importantly rotations in U.S.
