In addition to the 33,000 Euro tuition, the cost of living in Ireland is not cheap. The recent decline of the dollar versus the Euro has made it that much more expensive. Interestingly, one of the questions that Irish med schools ask their North American applicants is: "How will you pay for it?"

I read somewhere that Dublin is now the most expensive European city to live in. Considering how obscenely expensive rent is in London, that's really saying something. It's a shame, though, since I've heard that it's otherwise a great place to live.
