Thread: ireland schools

hi i am currently a second year undergraduate student in science at University of Western Ontario, what are my chances of getting into an Ireland school for the six year medical program if my first year gpa was a 2.9 and my final highschool avg was an 89.5%?

Well, depends on the school you apply to, but overall they are very competitive. I applied to two schools' 6-year programs and was denied to both and that's with a bachelor's degree, decent MCAT score and GPA in the low 3's... (However, I was waitlisted at one school.) One of my problems was that I applied really late in the decision cycle. If I were you, I'd apply reeeeallly early and get in all of your documents as quickly as possible.
