    Hi

I did my Bsc and my Msc, i applied for lublin in 1008 and got a place from HMI, but didnt go because i didnt trust them.btw dont apply anywhere outside europe, in that case you will have to do PLAB, which is hard, i know many people who failed.

They were kind of forcing me.Dont trust the agencies. They rip you off.Do you know any loan companies that offer for studying abrad. The cheapest and good university i found so far for 4 year medicine is Poznan. It works out to be less than 10,000.I have budgeted about 5,000 for living cost.So it should work out 60, 000 to complete my studies. Starting salary for doctors is currently 32,000. So you should be able to pay your debts off pretty quickly.

They were forcing u coz they make their comi$$ion from people who sign up. Was it the agents who were pushy or the faculty members of the university?

Im self funded..have no intention of taking out a loan. Banks will screw u over IF you can persuade them to lend you money. I know a guy who has a legal but risky way of obtaining a second student loan...not my cuppa tea but if ur desperate i'll put u in touch with him. its not tried/tested/approved by me i should note.

dude, who told u starting salaries r 30k+?? my bro graduated from medicine 6 years ago and hes only on 32k now. Starting salaries in UK hospitals fy1-fy2 are about 2500 per month when ur doing 38hour shifts.

    Hi there,

I'm looking to make contact with anyone either thinking about, or who's already applied, to a medical school in the EU (outside the UK and Ireland). Especially interested in anyone from the Midlands or East/South East region of the UK.

It's for a short film to be broadcast on British television later this year, which will look at the state of medical education in Britain, it's future in the short-term with regards to tuition costs.. and most importantly.. a comparison with it's EU counterparts.

We would wish to film participants in the UK either before they set off, or while they are back in the UK during a break, and once they are back on campus. This would require half a day of filming in each location.

If you or someone you know, might wish to take part and wouldn't mind sharing their experiences about the application and acceptance phases.. or during any stage of the course.. please get in touch.

You may send a 'private message' to me on this forum, where I can reply back with an office email and telephone contact details, or reply to this message and I'll do my best to respond via private message. Thank you.
