Thread: Wondering which Irish schools to apply to...

Hello,

Just to fill you in, I have a 34M MCAT, 3.65 GPA (last 2 years of school), and I have a BSc in Biological Sciences.

I applied to the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta last year but did not get an interview to either. This year, I'm planning on applying to the U of C and the U of A again, but also to some medical schools in Ireland. Problem is, I'm not sure which ones I should apply for. I would gladly apply to all 7, however I definitely cannot afford the $525 US at this point in time.

The list I'm trying to narrow down is:
1. University College Cork
2. University College Dublin
3. National University of Ireland, Galway
4. Trinity College Dublin
5. Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland
6. University of Limerick
and 7. RCSI, Medical University of Bahrain

I would greatly appreciate any feedback as to which schools I should apply to and which I shouldn't bother for. I'm really not familiar with how picky any of these schools are, and I'd prefer to only apply to the 2 or 3 schools I have the best chance of getting into (assuming my extracurricular and volunteer experience etc is adequate).

Royal college of surgeons is very expensive 40 Euro

amm -- but do research about medical schools in poland ..or india !!

also if you dont have proplem to study German language because the studying there is very cheap sometimes ( free )
...only the life .is expensive -- the students there .. can take work ---
