Thread: UK GEP school or Carribean/DO?

I'm really torn with this decision. Do I go to a good UK school where I was accepted into a GEP program (4 yrs), or go to a Carribean or US DO school?

It is important for me to have an MD title, and to return to the US for residency. I feel like I would have good residency options as well coming from a good UK school. I am a US citizen as well.

Would appreciate anyone who can offer advice.

May I ask which graduate entry programme you have been accepted to? Congratulations, I know the majority of these programmes have somewhere between 30 and 40 appicants per seat.

Sure. I was accepted to Warwick Medical School at the University of Warwick. It is a 4 yr GEP program. Looking at UCAS, I guess the chances of acceptance for an international student were around 2.5%.

I d recommend UK --- they are very well recognised in the US.
Some residency program might prefer if you complete your 4 yrs, then 1 yr of practice ( Called Foundation year 1 in the UK) and which gives u your full registration
