Thread: Need Help!!! A Canadian wants to practice in Canada but study in Europe...

Hi there,

I am a canadian citizen and want to go to a dental school in Poland or UK (5 years BDS). My question is Would I be able to practice in Canada if I graduate from a dental school in UK?? If not, what do I have to do to practice dentistry in Canada?
What about Medicine?? If I complete a 6-yrs Medical program in Poland, would I be able to practice in Canada?

Another question: Do I have to do residency in Canada to practice here? If I do residency in USA, would I be able to practice in Canada???

If the answer is yes, could you please suggest some good medical/dental universities in UK??

Please friends help me!!!

This is value MD, a website for people interested in training to become doctors, not dentists. People haven't answered because I doubt anyone knows the answer. I suggest that you do an internet search for the Canadian Dental Association, or whatever it's called, and read their requirements for liscensure. That way, you'd be getting actual honest-to-god-reliable information, instead of wanting people who have absolutely no interest in your request to do your homework for you.

Really, is it too hard to do a quick Google search?
