510 points You're more likely to get detailed info. about the Irish schools, including RCSI, on the SDN forums (e.g. this thread Gpa - Student Doctor Network Forums ). There are quite a few studying in Ireland who post there.
Does RCS Edinburgh still offer md courses? I thought that stopped eons ago.

Of all the Royal Colleges, only the RCSI in Dublin has a Medical School. The others (RCS England, RCS Edinburgh and RCS Glasgow) only exist to run the postgraduate exams in Surgery.
510 points Well I got in with high 80s, (but I did attend IB). But I'm sure you can get in on regular high 80s, low 90s. Truly, they care about your community involvement, the way you think outside the box (justifiably, not taking risks), and how excited you are. At least with RCSI
