2 bedroom apartments available
i'm a 3rd year student at uag and am living in a building that is within walking distance to the icb campus. there are two apartments available in the building and it would be great to fill them with either US or Puerto Rican students. right now, out of the 12 units, 3 are filled by US students and 2 are filled by Puerto Rican students.
these are two bedroom apartments. the bedrooms are a little small, and one is lofted with a balcony above the living room, so it is not very private. but, for a couple, or someone living alone, they are amazing. not to say that people couldn't live with a roommate, but the lofted bedroom would not be that private as far as noise goes. one of the apartments is on the ground floor and includes it's own private, secure patio in the back. the other apartment is on the second floor and includes a private roof-top patio. both apartments have parking spaces. these are really unique apartments and worth living in if they are still available. i think the price is still 4600 pesos a month, gas and water are paid for, and electricity usually is about 180 pesos a month. if anyone is interested let me know and i will send you the information for my apartment manager. stewart saweber2@hotmail.com Last edited by saweber2 : 07-05-2007 at 02:30 PM. rent my unit
My husband and I are currently living in this building and have been very happy here. We are continuing with the program and moving to Brooklyn, NY in mid-June. We live in an upstairs unit with a very large private roof overlooking the city. These units do not come furnished, but I'm looking to sell our furnishings, so if you'd like to purchase the "package" to go along with my apt, let me know. These apartments are great and have been rented as soon as one becomes available.

so about how many blocks would you say the apartments are from the school? I'm trying to figure it out on google earth, but I'm not having much luck. Also, how do you rate the bathrooms? Is it americanized or mexican (referring to the shower). Thanks!

The apartment is about 8-10 blocks from ICB campus. It is a straight shot on Juan Palomar y Arias (aka Yaquis)...a street with 2 names...something to get used to in Mexico. I would say the apartment is more Mexican than American, but that is one of the things I love about it. The ONE bathroom might be the biggest downside of the whole deal. It is pretty small (like it's difficult to shut the door while sitting on the toilet, but has a standard size shower, sink and toilet. Does this answer all your questions?
