yeah and dont forget the organization sgu and some other schools started up. i expect they'll all have a simliar level of validity and prestige with regards to any accredidation or validation relevant to you and me.

The University of the West Indies, a public university that has
campuses in Trinidad, Jamaica, and Barbados, has spearheaded the
creation of a regional accreditation authority for medicine and other
health professions. The group's goal is to increase the worldwide
acceptance of the region's graduates.
St. George's University, on Grenada, and the Caribbean Community of
nations, a group of eight English-speaking countries, are
participating in the project. Rxxxx Hxxxx, St. George's vice
provost, said the school is about to begin the self-evaluation portion
of the accreditation process, which will be followed by a site visit
by an accreditation team. St. George's is among the first medical
schools to be reviewed under this new system.
"There's a mushrooming growth of medical schools in the Caribbean," he
said. "It's a question of maintenance of standards."

Once all of the nations sign up the agreement it becomes a real important project since it is the Governments who actually give validity to this kind of project and not an individual school. The perception of bias is greatly dimminished.
