California doesn't discriminate
To "California Equality:" Your posting is nonsensical and offensive to the California Medical Board. St. Matthew's has not been a medical school recognized by the California Board at any time. So there should be no Californians at St. Matthew's. How much simpler can I make it? The Medical Board's members have the statutory authority and responsibility to review medical schools for the public's protection. There is no racism involved. Most of the hundreds of Board-recognized medical schools listed on our web site are in countries with non-Caucasian populations. Our decisions are totally blind to issues of race, creed, color, religion, etc. The Board's decision to disapprove St. Matthew's had nothing to do with these issues. The site inspection report is available on our web site for the world to read. I'd suggest when you contact all of those legislators, you show them your official, unaltered college transcripts, your GPA, USMLE scores, and any other records (including medical records) that explain why you are not a candidate for admission to any U.S. or traditional international medical school. You explain to the legislators why, if you're interested in practicing in California, you knowingly entered a non-recognized or disapproved medical school. Before you childishly demand the privilege of removing my gall bladder, you need to demonstrate that you possess the high-level decision-making capabilities required of physicians in this state. If you knowingly entered a non-recognized or disapproved medical school, with all the fine choices available to you on this planet and in defiance of the California Medical Board's best attempts to protect you from so doing, you've already flunked the test.
