hey, i wish you the best too! don't get me wrong, i am not trying to insult you. i am just making it clear to any newbies that it is a huge risk. i am sure you are already aware of that, but it is very, very important to reiterate that.
if you are happy with your choice, more power to you. i agree that it is likely that you will be able to work somewhere in this country. who knows where, or how widely accepted your degree will be, but i do have confidence that you can work somewhere.
my only point is that it is important to carefully choose your school. newbies should really consider the value of the education that they are buying. there are many limitations out there placed on IMG's, and i am of the opinion that it is important to minimize this. look for VALUE in a med school...what are you actually getting for your money. a degree that is valid all over the US, a strong education, a history of good residency placements and licensed docs in all 50 states are available from many good schools. there are also many schools (good and bad) that cannot get you this. so, convenience, cost, school location, etc....really matter very little if the school cannot provide what you need.
