Wisconsin license?

I am an IMG finishing my intern yr in IM and am very dissatisfied and wonna switch to anesthesiology. I will be applying this September to the match and will be free until 7/1/10. I looked on the Federation of State Medical Boards and only Wisconsin and Peurto Rico grant licenses to IMGs with 1 yr postgraduate training, the others between 2-3yrs. So my question is do you guys think it would possible for me to get a temporary hospitalist, IM, or locum job? Do you know who I should contact? Thanks. Any peices of advise would be greatly appreciated! Regards!

I heard that after I get a Wisconsin license that I might be able to get chance to work in a VA med center or outpt clinic...anybody second that?
(VA is government, so I think any license would suffice, plus their standards are less rigorous)
