Dismissed but still got License?
Ok... very odd question...

has anyone or anyone you know or heard of, been dismissed from one medical school... went to another and passed the usmle/and got MD degree... went on to do the typical 3 yrs of residency, and then got a medical license??

Im hearing that maybe if you are dismissed from one medical school, that it will come out when you apply for a medical license and they will turn you down.

thoughts?

not automatically; youd have to explain the circumsances and it would depend upon the reason. didn't pay your bill? or did you committ a felony etc.

failed 3 of 4 classes... the one i passed was supposed to be the hardest all year so i actually focused. too many family problems going on... sigh... what a mess....

I know one from US school to a Caribbean school. He is doing quite well and is actually practicing in NY.
I never asked him about the facts and what he did when he was applying for his license.
