    Fellowships and specialties

    Hi,
    I just wanted to know if there are students from SMU that have specialized or currently doing a fellowship. Is it much more difficult for SMU students to gain fellowships?

    Sure there are students doing fellowships! The complete list is at the SMU website under "residency placement".

    SMU students can work in any field... Some are going to be tougher than others but that's no matter where you go.

    There is a difference between a fellowship and residency. A fellowship is a specialization that one goes into after residency. Cardiology being a fellowship that falls under the internal medicine branch.
