Thread: Transferring money to bank account

Can anyone tell me what options I have to transferr money from my bank account to the cayman national bank or the butterfield bank. Do most of these banks take personal checks? If not do they take debit cards. I want to bring traveler's checks but I know that my teri loan which I will be using for spending money will not come through before I get to the island.

funny you asked...i was at bank of america for like an hour finding this all out. you have the option of a wire transfer...but you would need an authorized person in the states ( this is the cheapest way) next is check or taking it out an depositing it...both have fees accompanying them. ( as do all, but moreso than the transfer)....but this might just be for bank of america.
