I'm not to familiar with cell phones. They have to unlock and all u need to do is switch the sim card. This works for numerous phones. Not sure of yours is one of them. But i believe it should ?

Also I believe digicell has been giving free phones to incoming students for the past couple of semesters.

HOW TO UNLOCK A GSM, SIM CAPABLE PHONE (MUST BE SIM)

(Okay, here's what T-Mobile did with my Razr phone):
B4 u get to the island:
1. Call your customer service (ATT, T-Mobile etc) from a different phone, not your cell.
2.Tell them you'll be travelling so you need your phone unlocked. (Not international roaming, unlocked). They will ask you the phone's serial # etc
3. They will then e-mail you the unlock code. So you will follow the instructions in e-mail
4. About 5 days later, the codes will go through and phone will unlock by itself.

After you get to the island:
1. Digicel gives u free phone (hopefully) with sim card
2. Put that Digicel sim card in your unlocked phone
3. Phone now works under Digicel

Back in States
Just re-switch sims and phone works fine

I brought my own quilt. Some other guys didn't and just turn the a/c warmer at night. It doesn't really get cold here.

I would reccommend a lazer printer we bought a cheap hp one and it did wonders and was easy on ink and time. Just a suggestion
